May 2010 – Bluewave Energy announced today that they have become an Official Equipment Partner of KidSport.
As a youth growing up, I was fortunate enough to experience how important sports are to building a healthy lifestyle that instills confidence and leadership skills in kids at an early age,” said Brad Gouthro, Marketing Specialist at Bluewave Energy. “This program will help more kids lead an active lifestyle making it a perfect fit with Bluewave Energy’s corporate values.”
KidSport is a national children's program that helps kids overcome the financial barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sport. Over 49,000 kids receive grants each year from KidSport that enable them to participate in sport. Bluewave Energy’s donation will go towards financially assisting families with sports equipment purchases.
