Let’s look at a home using $2000 worth of oil per year. With a regular account you would have several payments of $400 or more depending on the price and amount delivered. With a budget plan, you would pay $200 per month over 10 months.

How is the monthly amount calculated?

The estimated monthly amount uses historical usage information for the home and estimated prices for the season. For example, most 10 month plans are based on 10 payments but if budget billing is set up later than September the payment will reflect fewer than 10 payments.

What if my actual costs are different than estimated?

Actual costs may differ due to weather, home renovations, prices, etc. If this occurs, mid way through the winter your account will be analyzed and you will be contacted to decrease or increase your payment if costs.
